This group was formed so African American's in the Greater Seattle area can come together and enjoy our good old down home food. Monthly we'll have a pot luck get together and everyone can bring a dish that matches the selected theme. We'll also enjoy some nights dining out at select favorite resturants in the greater Seattle area.

… However, our emphasis will be focused on meeting the needs of African American Women.   Since our members live all around the Seattle Metropolitan area, we will plan to have meetups in the Seattle, Tacoma and  Eastside Areas. This is a group for parents who are teaching or want to teach Portuguese to their children. Once the group has a few members we will start having meetups, and we will share stories, music, games, and food.
