The African Holistic Village is a gathering place for members of the African Diaspora to share knowledge in the areas of holistic healing, diet, spirituality and conscious cultural events. We as an African village need a space to gather to share our unique approaches to wellness, strengthen our networks and heal! This African American Genealogy Meetup Group was started to support and share sources of information for researching one's family tree. Multiple sources include the census and  DNA.  The group's name is "Sankofa," a Ghanian word meaning " to go back for that which you have forgotten." We go back to our ancestors to find our true selves.

This group is where positive, self-motivated, social and adventurous African-Americans come together.
